Certified Nutrition Specialist - Sydenham Clinic

Sydenham Clinic is seeking a Certified Nutrition Specialist with strong scientific grounding to join our concierge medical practice in Beverly Hills. Reporting to the Head of Nutrition, you'll work alongside our physicians translating complex diagnostic data into individualized nutrition strategy — with particular depth in gut health and the microbiome.

This role is built for a scientist first. We're looking for someone who reads primary literature, reasons from mechanism, and can hold a substantive clinical conversation with a physician about why an intervention works.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret labs, microbiome sequencing, body composition, and functional assessments

• Design personalized nutrition protocols grounded in nutritional biochemistry

• Lead work across gut, metabolic, and weight health — including the gut–brain and gut–metabolic axes

• Monitor emerging research and assess its clinical applicability

• Refine protocols with the Head of Nutrition across all three clinics

• Maintain detailed documentation and structured patient follow-up

Required Qualifications

• CNS credential required

• Master's or doctoral degree in nutrition, nutritional biochemistry, or related scientific field

• Demonstrated depth in nutritional biochemistry, physiology, and metabolic pathways

• Experience interpreting microbiome and digestive diagnostic data

• Fluency in reading and applying peer-reviewed research

• Comfort working alongside MDs as a clinical peer
