Job Description/Summary
The Community Health Services Administrator will serve as the positive first impression and the front line in communication between Roosevelt Health Center (RHC) patients and physicians. The Community Health Services Administrator supports the clinical team by coordinating patient visits, scheduling, promptly answering the phone and sending referrals. The position is responsible for establishing a positive experience for our patients. The Community Health Services Administrator also supports and facilitates operational standards for the clinic, including keeping track of log information, assisting in creation of operational standards and helping to maintain Department of Health Services (DHS) standards. The Community Health Services Administrator works directly under the Roosevelt Health Center Clinic Director.
The Community Health Services Administrator is directly responsible for the following:
1. Exhibiting stellar customer service to both internal and external clients while scheduling, following through with patient inquiries, and managing phone calls; supporting a consistent high-quality patient experience and supporting a mission of focused growth in patient volume.
2. Assisting with clinic operations, including keeping track of log information, assisting in creation of operational standards and helping to maintain Department of Health Services (DHS) standards, among other duties.
3. Coordinating with the Clinic Director (RHC) and Clinical Coordinator in maintaining sufficient supplies and medicinary stock.
4. Contributing to a team that promotes a positive and supportive work environment for all Sonoran staff and students; as well as a positive, healing, and supportive environment for patients.
5. Accurate data entry in the electronic health records system, medical file maintenance and other related documentation and communication, supporting an infrastructure of data-driven decisions and continuous improvement through advanced analytics.
Experience Required
• Bilingual- Spanish speaking
• 2 or more years’ experience of the following:
o Answering and returning front office phones/call transfers
o Appointment scheduling management
o Computer literate:
o Electronic Records/Electronic Medical Records maintenance
o Competent in Microsoft Office (or similar) and email protocol
o Data entry
o Greeting and welcoming others
o Maintaining a positive workspace atmosphere
o Positive customer/patient service
o Clear verbal and written communication
o Proven ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy
o Ability to demonstrate decision-making, with notable experience
Education Requirements
Minimum Education/Certifications High School Diploma/GED
Desired Education/Certifications Associate’s degree, Medical Certification, or similar
Working Environment
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extensive periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse. Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 25 pounds. Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. Communicate to perform essential functions.

The Medical Center provides naturopathic healthcare for a wide range of patients including but not limited to; family medicine, nutrition and digestive health, mental health and well-being, dermatologic conditions, endocrine and auto-immune concerns, and acute symptoms. The Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine focuses on non-opioid solutions to pain and pain management utilizing treatments ranging from cupping and acupuncture to regenerative injection therapies.
