Absolute Health AZ is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and wellness‑focused NMD to join our integrative medical team. This role is ideal for a provider who is passionate about natural medicine, functional healing, and patient‑centered care. You will work in a collaborative environment offering advanced wellness services including naturopathic medicine, neurofeedback, chiropractic care, IV therapy, allergy relief, and more.
About the Role
The NMD will provide comprehensive, holistic medical care with a focus on identifying and treating the root cause of illness. You will evaluate patients using a functional and integrative approach, create individualized treatment plans, and support patients through natural therapies such as nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle modification, hormone balancing, and diagnostic testing.
You will step into a busy clinic with a steady flow of patients, while also having the opportunity to build and grow your own patient base.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, lifestyle assessment, and functional diagnostic testing
- Develop personalized treatment plans using natural, integrative, and evidence‑based therapies
- Provide services such as:
- Nutritional counseling
- Hormone balancing
- Supplementation protocols
- Lifestyle and wellness coaching
- Preventive care and chronic condition management
- Order and interpret labs including bloodwork, hormone panels, food sensitivity testing, and specialty functional tests
- Collaborate with chiropractic, neurofeedback, and wellness teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients on natural health, disease prevention, and long‑term wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinic growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) in the state of Arizona
- Strong background in natural, functional, or integrative medicine
- Experience with nutrition‑based care, supplementation, and lifestyle medicine
- Excellent communication and patient‑education skills
- Passion for holistic wellness and root‑cause healing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in a wellness or integrative clinic preferred
