FT (4 days/week) Naturopathic Doctor

The Santa Cruz Naturopathic Medical Center (SCNMC) is hiring a full-time Naturopathic Doctor to join our team in our newly expanded downtown Santa Cruz clinic. This is not a build-from-scratch role. You will inherit an active patient panel, learn alongside experienced NDs, and grow into a long-term seat in one of the most established integrative practices on the central coast.
About SCNMC
Founded in 2009 by Dr. Tonya Fleck, SCNMC has spent 16 years becoming the trusted naturopathic home for Santa Cruz families. After more than a decade in our original space, we recently relocated to a larger, lighter-filled office in downtown Santa Cruz, designed around how integrative medicine should actually feel. Our team practices full-scope naturopathic family medicine with strengths in IV therapy, hormone optimization, gut health, weight management, PRP, and supplement and herbal medicine. We are independent, doctor-owned, and not insurance-driven.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Naturopathic Doctor to step into a four-day, 32-hour clinical schedule beginning in September 2026. One of our doctors is going out on maternity leave, which means you walk into an established panel of patients ready to be cared for, with a clear runway to convert that volume into your own long-term practice. You will have full clinical autonomy paired with the support, collaboration, and shared protocols of an experienced team.
This is the kind of seat that rarely opens up. We are hiring for the next decade, not the next quarter.
What You Get
- Compensation: Base salary plus performance-based commissions on visit volume and product sales. Top performers in our practice earn well into six figures.
- Schedule: Four-day work week. No nights. No weekends. No on-call.
- Established patient flow: Active panel from a doctor on maternity leave, plus new-patient lead flow from our marketing engine.
- Clinical infrastructure: In-house IV suite, injectables, supplement and herbal dispensary, lab partnerships, and a trained medical assistant team.
- Mentorship and collaboration: Weekly case discussion and clinical support from a team that includes Dr. Fleck (16+ years), Dr. Sellars (digestive health), and Dr. Farley (family medicine).
- Relocation support: If you are coming to Santa Cruz from out of the area, we will help make the move smooth.
- Long-term partnership: We want someone who plans to put down roots, build a panel, and grow with the practice.
What We're Looking For
- Current Naturopathic Doctor license (CA license or eligible to obtain before September 2026)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
- IV therapy experience preferred
- Comfort with BHRT and constitutional homeopathy is a strong plus
- A doctor who is warm, organized, runs on time, treats patients as whole people, and works well inside a collaborative team
